About me

My name is Dr. Dino Savva, born in Manchester UK to Greek-Cypriot parents on 25th April 1963. I graduated from the University of Manchester in 1986 with a degree in Medicine and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (London) in 1991. I'm a self-confessed petrolhead with a passion for fast cars, fast women, and football (especially Manchester United).
I live in Al Ain, UAE and work at Tawam Hospital as a Consultant Anesthesiologist. Al Ain is a cosmopolitan town with a population estimated at 350,000 and lies within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It's about 130km from Dubai, 150km from Abu Dhabi, and borders with the town of Buraimi in Oman.
My homeland (Cyprus) is a beautiful island in the Eastern Mediterranean about 1600 miles North-West of Al Ain. Click on this link to learn more about Cyprus.
